Job Summary:
Interior Demolition Laborer performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision. These tasks include the dismantling or deconstruction of walls, ceilings, and floor coverings. The deconstruction is achieved by the use of equipment, hand and power tools. The candidate should have the capability of standing, kneeling, bending and lifting as required to perform tasks. The candidate should also be able to climb and work from ladders and scaffolds at various heights.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Required:
- United States Citizen.
- Clean Criminal Record (To obtain various security clearance).
- In possession of valid State ID and SS.
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Ability to work in a variety of roles and weather conditions.
- Good attendance and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in demolition or construction preferred..
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- On-the-job training for this position is provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
